Every October, the grand ceremony of the Zou people

The Grand Ceremony of the Zou People
Kicking off every October and lasting about three days, let's delve into the story behind it 🙂
The life bean, known as "fona" in the Tsou language, is a traditional delicacy of the Tsou people.

Because this bean possesses unparalleled vitality (!?), thriving even in barren environments, the "Life Bean Festival" draws its inspiration from this enduring and resilient life force. As a traditional wedding symbol, the life bean also encourages the Tsou tribe to marry and have children. In recent years, the Alishan Township Office has expanded the festival to promote tourism, support tribal population growth, and preserve cultural heritage. During the life bean's blooming season in November, the event attracts many visitors eager to experience a traditional Tsou wedding.

Primarily for market promotion, numerous vendors showcased Alishan Township's agricultural specialties and coffee bean DIY activities. As the season transitioned from autumn to winter, the mountain mist shrouded the landscape in a breathtakingly beautiful haze.
