If you plan to arrive after 21:00, please contact us in advance to arrange for check-in.
3. Check-out time: Before 11:00 a.m.
※If check-out is delayed after 11:00am, an additional charge of RMB 50 per hour per person will be applied to backpacking rooms; an additional charge of RMB 200 per hour per suite will be applied to suites.
4. For on-site check-in, you will be required to provide identification (ID card, health insurance card, driver's license or passport) of the person who made the reservation for check-in.
5. If you increase the number of guests without notice, you will be charged double the room rate or have the right to refuse your stay.
6. Due to the fact that the backpacker rooms are bunk beds and you have to share the room with other people, there are safety concerns, so we are not able to accommodate travelers under the age of 16.
7. Persons under 18 years of age who are not accompanied by an adult are required to present a parental consent form upon check-in.

Q5: Postponement or Cancellation of Booking
1. The reservation is postponed or canceled due to non-natural (non-special) reasons before the check-in date.
- If you choose to extend your deposit, you will be able to keep it for 6 months and extend it once, but you will not be able to request cancellation of the refund again;
- If you choose to cancel your reservation, you will receive a refund of the deposit (minus a remittance fee) in accordance with the rules below.
The following are not included in the booking on the day of arrival (to be advised during counter service hours).

First 10~13 days; Refund of paid deposit 70%
First 7~9 days; Refund of paid deposit 50%
4~6 days before; refund of paid deposit 40%
2~3 days before; Refund of paid deposit 30%

If you inform us on the day of your stay; no refund will be made.
2. Cancellation of booking due to special factors (force majeure such as earthquake, typhoon, epidemic)
- The check-out procedures are postponed or canceled due to natural factors before the check-in date as described below, and the announcement is based on the information released by the local government.
- If a typhoon or earthquake occurs in the Chiayi area, or a natural disaster is irresistible, and the local government issues a notice to stop working and attending classes on the day of check-in in the area, please contact the hotel within 3 days (inclusive) from the date of check-in to apply for a change of procedures, and the booking will be postponed or canceled in accordance with the regulations as soon as possible.
- For those who choose to extend the stay for special reasons, the deposit can be retained for 6 months; or deduct the service handling fee of $100 and the remaining balance will be refunded to the designated account within 14 days from the check-out date. (Applicable from June 4, 114)
Q6：Can I have an extra bed in my room?
Please inform us in advance if you need an extra bed for your stay and an extra charge will be applied for the extra bed service.
- Extra bed in guest room NT$$800/bed.
- The extra bed is a 10cm single mattress placed on the floor of the room (no bed frame).
- If you increase the number of people without informing us, we will double the amount or have the right to refuse your stay if found out.
- Children under 6 years old and under 120cm are exempt from extra beds.
- Children over 6 years old, under 12 years old and over 120cm will be charged NT$$500/bed for extra bed.
Q7：How do I change my order?
If you are using a travel agency or online booking system (e.g. Expeida, Agoda or booking.com, etc.), you need to change or cancel your booking directly on the booking website, and we do not have the right to modify your order for you.
If you have booked directly through our website, Facebook, or by phone and would like to change the dates, room type, or number of guests, please contact us directly. Cancellation must be made 14 days prior to the date of arrival in order for us to cancel your reservation free of charge.
Q8：Can children sleep in the backpacking room? Can I stay under 18 years old?
- Considering the fact that backpacking dormitory rooms are bunk beds and you have to share the room with people you don't know, there are many safety concerns, so we are unable to accept travelers under the age of 16. However, if you are in a group (more than 6 people, with a teacher or leader), please call us for more information.
- If you are under 18 years of age and not accompanied by your parents, you must present a parental consent form before checking in.
Q9：Can 5 of us stay together in a 6-person room?
You can specify in your order that you would like to stay in the same room, we will try our best to arrange this for you, but it still depends on the status of the order on that day, and there will be a guest you do not know sharing the room, if you do not want to share the room with other people, please book 6 people directly in the 6-person room type.
Q10: Can I designate an upper or lower level dormitory bed or room?
Please let us know as soon as possible, you need to provide your booking name, booking number and check-in date, or make a note on the order form to request for upper/lower beds, we will try our best to arrange the room or bed for you according to the room conditions, but we cannot guarantee it, please forgive us.
Q1: Can I check in early if I arrive early?
The earliest check-in time is 3:00 p.m. If you arrive early, you can check in and pick up your key and leave your luggage.

Q3：What should I do if I can't reach the hotel before 22:00?
The hotel room type is a password-locked room.
If guests check in after 22:00, please contact the housekeeper to use "Self Check-In" before 21:00 at the latest.
Self-check-in requires full payment of the room charge prior to check-in, completion of the self-check-in form and uploading of documents.
Upon receipt of the form and confirmation of your documents, the front desk steward will provide you with the password for the side door on the 1st floor and the door code for your room floor.
Upon entering the hotel, pick up the self-service packet (with invoice and room code) at the front desk.
You can enter the room for self-check-in after picking up.
Q1：Do you provide breakfast?
Breakfast is not available at this hotel.
Q2: Is the bathroom inside or outside the room? Is there a hair dryer?

Hairdryers are available in all rooms. Backpacker rooms must be used in the common area after 21:00.
Q3: Do you provide free WiFi?
Free WiFi is available throughout the hotel (password required).
Q4: Are towels, toothbrushes and toothpaste provided?
According to the Environmental Protection Department's regulation, starting from January 1, 113, the hostel does not take the initiative to provide single-use travel goods (toothbrush, toothpaste, soap and shower cap).
Travelers can purchase toothbrushes and toothpaste from the concierge for $10 per set.
Towels are provided for suite rooms, backpacks are BYOB.
Towels can be rented for $30 per towel
Q5: Is hot water available during limited hours?
No, the hot water in the shower room is supplied 24 hours a day, but since we have a storage type water heater, after a large amount of hot water has been used by the previous washers, it is recommended to wait for 15-30 minutes for the hot water to fill up again before the hot water continues to be available for use. However, it is rare that the water is not hot enough.
Q6：Can I wash clothes in a washing machine?
Yes, there are coin-operated washers and dryers in the laundry room, and laundry detergent is sold over the counter at $10 for a small packet (about 5 days' worth of laundry).
Q7： Can I send my luggage?
Luggage can be stored (up to one day) upon arrival or after check-out, and can be picked up at the front desk from 9:00 - 21:00.
For baggage that is checked in for more than one day, a charge of $50/day per piece is applied.
We are not responsible for the safekeeping of your valuables, so please keep them with you.
Q8： Do you provide slippers and hangers?
Slippers and hangers are provided, and alcohol is available for sterilization.
Q9: What are the equipment of Simple Kitchen?
Electric crystal stove, microwave oven, public refrigerator, pots and pans, knives, forks, chopsticks and spoons.
Q10： Does each person in the backpacking room have his/her own locker and curtain?
Yes, each backpacking bed has its own curtain and comes with a locker for wallets and small valuables.
Q11： Can I bring my pet with me?
Yes, you are welcome to bring your pets with you.
- Pet programs are subject to an occupancy fee of $300 per room per day per $NTD, up to 2 pets.
After making a reservation, please be sure to inform the front desk by LINE, Email or phone (05-2290102). - Restricted room types are double and quadruple suites (backpack rooms are not available).
- Limited to small and medium-sized cats and dogs ( 15kg Please bring your own pet supplies.
- Pets are only allowed on the floor in the room; please use the Outside Babysitting Basket when leaving the room.
- If you need to go out, please make sure to bring your small children with you; please do not leave your pets alone in the room.
- Pets are not allowed to poop directly in the room or on public floors, and do not bring small children to bed, thank you for your cooperation.
- If your pet has aggressive behavior or barking that affects other guests, we reserve the right to ask you and your pet to leave the premises as soon as possible upon discovery by the housekeeper or complaint by other guests.
(No refund will be made if the quality of accommodation is seriously affected by other travelers). - The Company reserves the right to modify, change or suspend the Program, and in case of any failure to do so.
The Company may make additional announcements at any time in accordance with the relevant regulations or explanations of the Company.
Note 1If your child causes serious dirt or damage to the property, you will be notified and your pre-sale guarantee amount will be deducted; in the event of excessive damage, the hotel reserves the right to charge an additional fee for extended loss.

It takes about 2.5 hours by bus or by car!
Q5：Is there any space for parking bicycles?
Use the elevator to get to the 14th floor and the counter will tell you where you can park your bicycle.
Q1: Is there any access control?
As long as you have a password, you can enter and exit Anlan Residence anytime. When you enter and exit the first floor gate at 11:00PM ~ 07:00AM, you need to enter the password of the side door (it is listed on the check-in password list).
