Southern Palace Museum - National Palace Museum

The National Palace Museum South Campus is located in Taebao City, Chiayi County, with "Asian Art and Culture" as the main curatorial theme, and permanent and special exhibitions covering China, Islam, South Asia, and Southeast Asia. The lake garden, the curved bridge, and the black and white volumes are the classic viewpoints.

Inside the museum, there is a children's creative space, restoration and educational exhibits, restaurants and stores, and outdoor trails and grassy slopes for picnics. It can be reached by bus from Chiayi High Speed Rail Station, and is suitable for half-day to one-day trips.
